ITC – Infrared Training Center – A New Online Resource
Do you like free stuff? Who doesn’t? How about free education? You mean that stuff that comes out of books and college kids pay thousands and thousands of dollars a year to get? Sure do!
ITC (the Infrared Training Center), a subsidiary of FLIR, now provides tons of free courses covering all aspects of thermography and thermal imaging cameras for free on their website.
and InTech Combustion Analyzers have shipped featuring the new Ambient CO Test Mode. This new test is available in the main menu when the unit is in the Siegert Combustion Measurement mode. The Ambient CO Test is a 15 minute test that will take and record a CO measurement every minute (see picture at right).
What is an IR window? Basically it is a crystal lens that allows broadband infrared waves to pass through it (as well as visible light). The lens does not however allow electrical current to pass through. This enables the thermographer to take IR and visible images of live and energized electrical equipment.
The Flir i3, i5, and i7 Infrared Cameras have been disontinued.
This circuit load tester may be small, but it packs a big punch. The first thing you notice about this load and outlet tester is the digital display. This innovation is oddly late to the party but makes life so much easier. When using the CT70 as an outlet tester the display will shine Blue for Pass and Red if there is a problem.
Today we’re going to talk about a tool that, as far as I know, has no current competition or comparable product on the market – the Fluke VT02. While it has its limitations, it is certainly one of the best and most cost-effective choices for certain applications.
This analyzer has a beautiful full color display that shows real-time analysis that is simple to use and read. Bacharach offers B-Smart pre-calibrated sensors that can be easily replaced by the user in the field.
