Lots of changes have made their way into the HVAC Industry with the latest being the shrinking size of the recovery machine. Yellow Jacket has released their own version with the Yellow Jacket 95730 YJ-LTE Refrigerant Recovery Machine. This unit is hailed by Yellow Jacket as the smallest, lightest, and most powerful unit in its class. The YJ-LTE can be used with Vapor, Liquid, and standard push/pull and weighs in at a lowly 24 pounds. The oil-less compressor packs ½ HP with twin cylinders and has a high pressure shut off at 517 psi.

Even though this is a slimmed down unit does not make it any less capable. A superior condenser design allows for greater performance and can keep a tank up to 10 degrees cooler. The Yellow Jacket 95730 YJ-LTE Recovery Machine features a single 2 ½” liquid filled pressure gauge that has virtually no flutter and will show tank pressure during recovery and the internal pressure of the recovery unit during a purge. There is also a built in purge circuit that eliminates any extra components and makes clean up at the end of a job that much faster.

This unit is definitely made with the residential technician in mind. With class leading weight and great time saving features, the Yellow Jacket 95730 YJ-LTE Refrigerant Recovery Machine is definitely worth looking into. Are you looking to replace an old recovery machine to get your summer started off on the right foot.

Cheers and Happy Testing,

-Sam
