Amprobe has released the new 300 series of Industrial Clamp meters. Today I will be reviewing the AMP-310 HVAC Clamp Meter which is the entry level version of this series. This model is CAT III 600V safety rated and features True-RMS for voltage readings you can depend on.  Some useful functions for this meter in regards to HVAC specific testing are DC Microamps, Diode Test, Temperature readings via Type K Thermocouple slot, and Inrush Current measurement.
