When it comes to sewer
pipe inspection there are many options out there. Today I will be reviewing the General Pipe Cleaners Gen-Eye SD SL-SD-B Pipe Inspection Camera System. This system is designed for pipes with a diameter between 3” - 10”. Other features of this system include the large 10.4” screen and a waterproof keyboard protected with a Heavy Duty Pelican case to work in any condition you might run up against.
For today’s review I 
will be going over a classic Clamp Meter from Amprobe. The Amprobe ACD-51NAV is a CAT IV 600A TRMS Clamp Meter used for maintenance and spot checking purposes.
This unit measures up to 1000V and can handle power measurements as well as THD (Total Harmonics Distortion) and Individual Harmonics. The Navigator clamp allows for non-contact voltage detection as well as measuring Inrush currents.
Today I will be discussing
the T3 Innovation PLR600 Power Prowler. This unit is really three units in one as it has a 600V Digital Multimeter, Fault Locator, and a Live Event Detection Function. The Digital Multimeter function of the PLR600 will measure AC/DC Volts up to 600V and measure Resistance. It also has an audible signal for Continuity.
Today I will be reviewing the
TSI 5825 DP-Calc Micromanometer. The base unit starts with measuring differential as well as static pressures from -15” - +15” H2O.
The TSI 5825 can also be used in conjunction with a Pitot tube to calculate and display the Velocity. The large digital display is crisp and the information is very clear to read.
The Amprobe AT-7020 Wire Tracer has been discontinued.

The standard probe length is 40” which is one of the largest in the industry. With the frequency of technicians having smart phones or tablets, Wohler has decided to make the VE 200 Wireless ready to transmit the image direct to a phone or tablet.
Today I will be discussing the TSI 9565-A VelociCalc
Ventilation Meter. This unit has many applications including, but not limited to, HVAC Testing and Balancing, Clean Room Testing, IAQ Investigations and Process Air Flow Testing.
The 9565-A model of this meter comes with the TSI 9565-P Ventilation meter and a TSI 966 articulated air velocity probe.
Amprobe has released the
new 300 series of Industrial Clamp meters. Today I will be reviewing the AMP-310 HVAC Clamp Meter which is the entry level version of this series. This model is CAT III 600V safety rated and features True-RMS for voltage readings you can depend on. Some useful functions for this meter in regards to HVAC specific testing are DC Microamps, Diode Test, Temperature readings via Type K Thermocouple slot, and Inrush Current measurement.
